Our Client is working closely with the client to deliver solutions to benefit the enterprise systems procurement processes , So this role requires you to be client facing. Responsibilities/Duties:
Eliciting source information by conducting interviews with acquisition stakeholders (e.g. IPT members) and reviewing key project documents.
Using the information obtained above to construct and validate consistent models of systems and projects in accordance with the guidelines.
Identifying/capturing system of systems integration issues.
Assist with the development of guidance and training material to support and describe the approach, including re-usable model patterns, templates, exemplars, and enumerations based on defence and industry best practice.
Liaising with the design and implementation teams to identify "standard" (i.e. pre-defined) queries etc. Provision of add-hoc analysis support as required, for example, extracting
information and conducting analysis necessary to satisfy specific client requests.
Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in a technical/numerate subject
2-7 years commercial experience of designing and modelling approaches and interpretation of results. We would expect this to be in a number of environments with involvement in the full life cycle of activities
Essential Skills:
Proven experience of using JAVA and J2EE
OO and UML are of paramount importance
For more senior candidates, the following skills are also required:
Proven ability to understand and interpret client requirements to devise a project plan
Direct experience of proposal preparation
Management of work of others and budgetary control
Desirable Skills:
Defence/MoD experience would be a distinct advantage
Report writing and presentation skills
